Mrs. Blossom Lee peacefully passed away in her sleep from natural causes on August 6, 2020. Her contributions to the lives of many include being an original member of St. Mary’s Girl Chinese Drum and Bell Corps, and serving as past President of American Business Women’s Association of the San Francisco Chapter (1992).
Blossom attended Galileo High School and thereafter received her Associate Degree from City College of San Francisco. She also spent 36 years as an Executive Assistant at PG&E when upon her retirement she pursued her love of travel and had visited all 8 wonders of the world; as an avid traveler pursued her curiosity of culture and history around the world.
Blossom was born June 8, 1924 in San Francisco is survived by her three sons and two daughters and their respective spouses: Ronald and Sandy Lee, Gary and Lorna Lee, Edmund and Debbie Lee, Magdalene Lee, Adam and Priscilla Chen-Ok.
Blossom is also survived by her many grandchildren and their respective spouses: Brian and Tina Lee and their daughters Emma and Clara Lee; David and Sharon Barry and their daughter Zelda Barry; Connor and Michele Casey; Leia Lee; Adrienne, Adam, and Alan Chen-Ok.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Lee and her parents, Jones Lee and Hom Shee Lee and her three brothers Hanley Lee, Howard Lee and Wing Lee and her two sisters May Yee and Betty Dong.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and of everyone she interacted with. We welcome you to share your stories of remembrance on the Woodlawn website.
