A Eulogy dedicated to my Mom

Thankful to Lord's arrangement: I may be clumsy, not as efficient matching Mom's wise decisions & swift action: 唔好哂時間 = Do Not Waste (My) Time.

Mom, at 97, you consistently ever punctual and On Time as you said you would -- your departure No Time Wasted on your part.

1) Weather 天氣 -- Cool comfortable temperature:

You are always right, of cos.

(I walked out of North East Entry just now --Woh, hot--so very hot!)

Mom, right you are --can't stand this hot, hot weather, AC not much better. Have to Move Again!

2) Home -- the ideal house you ever wanted:

Well, 'Re-search' no more: You are at the prime Divine real estate-- your perfect dream home!

Mom, you don't have to move again! 唔駛再搬屋啦

3) Food -- you reminded: "breakfast is the most important meal": "They forgot to give me my breakfast" (the 2nd morning at the fateful hospital week, 'Stress Test' day certainly an oxymoron --Stressed you outright yet findings result 'normal.'

4) Brain -- Ever alert-minded you are:

So sorry I wasn't thinking as sharp & clear as you are: I trust you were racking your brain how to get out of this hospital predicament!

Mom, you did say to each doctor when they appeared before you, "There's nothing wrong with me" in clear, plain English.

5) Ruby -- no need to worry about her: God giveth, God provides, protects, guides and loves. 唔駛擔心啦

Mom you finally experienced it all, right?

Last week 在世乜都捱受清、乜罪都洗脫掉、上天如妳所願:

‘Ask and you shall receive:’

妳想走，"Don't waste time" ~ 唔好哂時間 like you said: 上主許妳的心意、 停咗妳世上的心跳、 兩袖清風 爽趣離開人世

6) Resilience, Endurance, still very much clear-minded, ever evaluating situation at hand, and planning what's the best path to take.

Lovely, elegant, gracious lady, strong, sharp, amazingly tenacious woman warrior supreme.

Yes, Mom, you are always correct 冇錯嘅

7) Oh, yes, Mom, Your beautiful hair, how you kept its vitality, you enjoyed taking time to wash & set your own real hair, so very proud and a daily life essential: "hair & well-being go hand in hand," Mom tirelessly emphasized.

蠻好! Ruby's Mom, 愛是永恆的

8) Jean speaks-understands Shanghainese, Cantonese, English and 'Chinglish,' too.

There's much, much more and plenty anecdotes, life lessons, longevity 'recipes' to share and exchange. A Celebration of Life event will be planned ~ timing TBD, dear friends & family will be eventually informed.
