passed away peacefully in Castro Valley.
Jimmy was born in Shunhe Village, Chongyun Township, Taishan County of
Guangdong Province in China (廣東省 台山縣 冲雲鄉 順和村) on June 13, 1940. He
immigrated to the United States in 1958, and married Connie Cheung in 1969.
Family: Jimmy is survived by Wife Connie Fong, Son Daryle Fong, and Daughters Gloria Chiem
and Julia Ma and their families.
Jimmy raised his family in San Francisco, and worked for the United States Postal Service for
25 years. He was a loving father who greatly enjoyed spending time with his children and taking
his family on special outings. He was well loved and respected by family, friends, coworkers,
and especially by his three grandchildren, Megan, Isabella, and Joshua.
