I still sit here and think it's all a joke, just a lie because no matter how long I didn't see you, at the most random times you would pop up with the biggest smile, talking about how times used to be. Now I am here talking about how memories used to be with you. I remember in middle school when I first met you! Playing spin the bottle in the back of class and always getting kicked out of class! Although I didn't know you very well, I will miss seeing you around rwc. My heart is saddened by this loss and I will always remember you.

The last serious conversation we had was a "heart to heart", we had work at 5am, and stayed up talking until 4. I told Ki he was my brother, ride or die, no matter what. I will forever cherish that conversation. From the time I first met you to the last time I saw you on the 30th, you were my best friend, my brother.  That will never change, you'll always be with me, and you'll always be my brother.

R.I.P Kijana you were my rock, you were my mean and annoying cousin and then at times you were my bestfriend. I'm gonna miss you and I'll see you again. I miss you so much dude it's so hard to think that I won't see you for a long time but I hope your happy.I think about you every single day. I love you so so so much. Every time I ride my skateboard at Red Morton I'm always so happy knowing I'm skating on the same ground you skated on,and it makes me feel safe. I know your still here with me,with all of us. It still hasn't completely sunk in that you're gone. It's crazy to think that I won't be seeing you everywhere all the time anymore, but I know that you're still everywhere with us all the time. We love you more than words can explain, Kijana and I can't wait to see you again.It makes me so happy to know that you're already doing your rounds and visiting those that love you most. Dear Ki-Jana,
It's been different without you. 
I sit in a room with all the kids, and I literally look over to joke with you about something. But, you're not sitting there. I wait for a late night call, asking me what I'm doing or asking for a ride home. But, you don't call. I walk into your room, I smell you, I feel you. But, you aren't there. 
It's been so different without you. It's been so hard without you. It's been a damn struggle without you.
A week or so before this all happened, I told Nicky that my worst fear was getting a call that you were gone. My eyes started to water and I choked back tears. 
My worst fear came true, and I honestly still can't seem to fathom that I won't see you in this physical world again. 
Even after sitting with our siblings without you. Even after sitting next to you in a casket. Even after talking to you while you're in a box of ashes. 
It's hard. I still don't want to believe it. I'm in complete and utter denial. That denial is made worse when I can feel you.
I can feel you next to me when I'm sitting there talking to you. Literally feel you, not some spiritual nonsense. I can literally feel someone sitting there next to me. I know you're here. I know you're with me. You're with all of us, our family. I know you wouldn't have it any other way. 
You were all about family, skating, and having fun. You lived life at your own pace. You didn't care if other people thought it wasn't the best for you, you knew it would all pay off in your benefit in the end. But, when you did care, you showed it and it was beautiful. You may have showed it angrily at times, but that's what made you, you. And you being you was the only thing I ever wanted. I'm so happy and proud that you were you until your last breath. 
I never got to tell you how much I admired you and how much I wanted aspects of you in me. I'm telling you now that you were something special. Truly something special. From your infamous giggle and laugh to your giant smile to your nappy hair to your smack talking to your stinky armpits to your backside boneless, you were special. You are special. That's why your legacy will live on. You're a legend dude. A Redwood legend.

I'm gonna miss you so much Ki-Jana, I can still remember when we would play around in our underwear literally every single night when we were little. You are family and I love you so much. It's still hard to come to think I will never see you in physical form, but that's okay because I can feel your amazing care free spirit. But you still were really nice to me, and every one else you knew. It hurt me deeply to hear of your passing, but I know we'll meet again when it's time & all pain will be healed. I know you will protect us from up there buddy & I hope you know how much you are loved and missed!! I wish I could've made it to your service, but I moved to Washington:( I still think about you a lot & when I do I think of that smile every time!! Rest easy dude

Such a nice kid, always smiling and happy.  We're all gonna miss you pal.

Ki-jana's huge bright smile is what I remember most vividly. I can forever hear his unique laugh in my head. It's like a movie playing in my head when I think of him. I see a wide smile,I hear a contagious laugh,and Im watching the back of a skate graphic T-shirt blowing in the wind as he skates the big bowl at Red Morton skatepark slashing his trucks on the coping and pumping the bowl like he owned it. I'm really going to miss you man. One Love.

Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had to try to come to the realization that my best friend, my twin, and my true ride or die was no longer with me. But, you visited me last night in my dreams and told me you were happy now. So, I know you're with me always, just like you were in physical form.
