

Rey Anthony Carolino was born August 13, 1957 in San Francisco to Jesus and Catalina Carolino. Rey went to Woodrow Wilson in San Francisco, and worked for the State of California for 34 years. He took early retirement to help care for his mother. His interests included drawing which started at age five. He was an accomplished artist, and worked with charcoal, graphite, and watercolors. Sketching people was his favorite, and he often drew caricatures of family and friends. His other incredible interests included theatre. He was an actor, playwright, director, and producer. He wrote many plays, acted, and directed them as well. He is well-loved and will be missed by the theatre community. He loved all kinds of music--classical rock, and R & B. His favorite artist was Prince, and he enjoyed listening to the songs of the 1960s and 70s. He loved to sing and dance all the time. He was a diehard fan of boxing and his favorite boxers were Roberto Duran and Manny Pacquiao.
On June 10, 2022 at 9:40 pm, Rey left our beautiful world to be with the Lord. Rey is survived by his sisters, Judy Reid, Kay Serrano, Esther Carolino, and nephew James Lontayao. Our dogs Hoppy Carolino and Lucky Serrano misses their Uncle Rey so much. He will always be remembered as a loving, honest, polite, and funny guy with an incredible smile and laugh
