Ron, a great man! Member of the Bloom's late night group: Ron, Howling John, One Shot Wally, Fabulous Fred, Mac, Mike, Huey, Tit, Cliff, Manny, Pausey, The Ghost, and Hefe. I am proud to know these warriors from the Old Potrero Hill station. They protected the city and Potrero Hill 24/7.

R.I.P. my friend, my thoughts are with the family. Much respect, Rico

I was Ron’s FTO at Central Station, he was brand new as a cop, but he was heads above other rookies with knowledge and how to treat people, probably due to his prior law enforcement experience. We worked together for 4 weeks and we had such a great time, many laughs, i really didn’t have to train him, it was like working with a veteran cop. We got detailed to many Giants games, which was a joy. Such a great guy, May God bless Ron and his family. RIP my friend , you will always be remembered as a good cop, and a great person

I worked with Ron at Co. C. He was my FTO. I have many fond memories of him and I riding around in the patrol car. He was a great FTO and taught me many things.
My condolences to his family.

I was fortunate enough as a 23 year old rookie police officer to be on Ron's shift at Potrero Station (1982-1990) . He was a man of courage and calm, and set an example as a fine police officer. I'm sorry Ron didn't ever get to play in the big league's, he spoke of his minor league tenure, and felt he missed out. I always thought that we were more lucky to have us there by our side, through thick and thin, many times with a revolver in his hand or a kind word for a victim. He was a big league ball player in my mind. I will always miss him. He had a wonderful laugh and beautiful sardonic humor. 3C2, rest in peace, from your brothers at Company C.

To my brother it was devastating to lose you. So many memories we shared. Playing ball and the walks to schools when we were young. You were always there for me my protector. Now your gone but the memories live on. You were loved by your family and friends and wore your star with pride serving the citizens of San Francisco with courage and bravery. Going to miss you Ron. Love Dave

A good friend, compadre and nino to our eldest son and never a conversation where he didn’t find something to laugh about. Losing my husband and his good friend didn’t keep him away from reaching out and helping with anything I needed. Ron and Cliff together again with nonstop conversations, laughs and smiles. Deepest condolences to the Dinslage family.

To the Dinslage Family,
My deepest condolences to you all. Ron was a good man gone to soon. I’m sure you have cherished memories to comfort you.
I am saddened by his passing.

I also worked with Ron in the General Work Detail. We all had a lot of really great times in that Unit together. Ron was a diligent worker with a great sense of humor. We enjoyed talking baseball together! I was able to speak with Ron a little over a year ago when he was in the hospital. We were able to catch up with each other’s lives and talk of good old times. I’m grateful for that and I am thankful to have known Ron.
My thoughts are with you all.

To the Dinslage Family my deepest condolences. May God bless you in this time of sorrow.
May the choirs of Angels come to greet him and carry Ron to Gods Grace.
He was a friend, a teacher and mentor to me when worked together at the Fugitive Detail. Always the Gentleman and as Neat as could be. Everything had to be just so, paperwork, flights, pickups, pens, pencils, clothes and Cars.
I will miss talking to him.
As he would say “yep, yep!”
