Sun Choi passed away at the age of 84 in Mountain View, CA. She was survived by two daughters Meggy and Mary, sons-in-law Wayne and Chris, four grandsons Vincent, Anthony, Kelvin and Matthew, granddaughters-in-law Ngoc, Nicole, Yolanda and Jessica, seven great-grandchildren Marcus, Lillian, Avery, Kayla, Alex, Lucas and Sophia.
Sun Choi was affectionately known as "GM" by her family. She was born in Canton, China, later moved to Hong Kong. She immigrated to the United States in 1969 where she worked at her parents sewing factory in Oakland.
She later settled in Sunnyvale with her family and helped raise her grandsons. She enjoyed cooking for her family and playing mahjong with many of her friends. She will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
