William Kyauk, Myint Thein Win, 55, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2023 at his home in Redwood City, California. William was born in Myittha, Myanmar on March 30, 1967, son of Daw Hmat Kyi and U Kan-Haing.
At the age of 22, he moved to the United States and began his career as a mechanic. After gaining expertise at Firestone, ABC, Infiniti, Toyota, and Topline - he started his own business. William ran T.W. Automotive for fifteen years and retired in June of 2022. During his brief retirement he enjoyed walks with Kuno, meditation, and trying new recipes.
William was diagnosed with gastric cancer in late November, and battled the disease with courage and grace. He is survived by his spouse, Lilia Kyauk, and his daughter Christine Kyauk as well as his siblings, an older sister and three younger brothers.
