Amber L Wagner Oden

Amber L. Oden , 90, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Lamun Lusk Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home in Big Spring. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Westbrook Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Smith will be officiating services. Family Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2011, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Amber was born in Mitchell County, on June 21, 1921 to parents J.H. and Eula Wagner. She married E.A. “Sam” Oden on June 21, 1947 in Sweetwater, TX . Amber worked for Westbrook ISD as a cafeteria worker, she worked there until she retired. Amber was a member of Westbrook Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her grandchildren. Amber lived in Mitchell County all of her life.

Survivors : Sons: Sammy Oden of Midland, TX, Tim Oden and wife Barbara of Westbrook. Daughter: Amber ”Tootsie” Maritha Blalock of Stanton, TX. Brother: Cliffton Wagner of Colorado City. Sister: Wanda Jameson of San Angelo. Grandchildren: David Blalock, Bradford Blalock, Brandon Oden, Blake Oden. Great-Grandchildren: Brooke Oden, Jake Oden, Isabella Blalock, Taelynn Oden. And numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Amber was preceded in death by: husband: E.A. “Sam” Oden, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Pallbearers will be : David Blalock, Bradford Blalock, Brandon Oden, Blake Oden, Ronnie Wagner, Tony Wagner.

All arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
