Mrs. Apolonia Campos, Age 80, of Colorado City, died Monday morning, June 24, 2013, in an Abilene hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Campos was born February 9, 1933 in Colorado City and had been a lifelong resident. She married Emeretio Campos on August 14, 1950 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 sons: Emeterio Campos, Jr, of Clyde and John Eric Campos of San Marcos; 7 daughters: Anita Reyna, Rita Espinoza, Emma Godina, and Juanita Davila all of Colorado City, Esther Goss and Dora Morris, both of New Braunfels and Irma Boyle of Palestine; 3 brothers: Jose Orona of Colorado City, Hinio Orona of New Braunfels and Edwardo Orona of Gainesville; 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
