Westbrook – Mr. Bobby Joe McDowell, age 71, of Westbrook, died Friday, July 8, 2011, at his residence. His body has been cremated and no service is planned at this time. His cremation is under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. McDowell was born May 11, 1940 In Mitchell County to Frederick and Linnie Graham McDowell and had been a lifelong resident. He was a self employed mechanic.
He is survived by a brother, Fred and wife, Janis McDowell of Sweetwater and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: David, Jack, Charles and Lenn and a sister, Della Mae Orr.
