Brandon Scott Free, 39, passed away unexpectedly in Colorado City, Texas, on February 27, 2021. Brandon was born January 21, 1982, in Colorado City, Texas, to his loving mother, Terri Madrid. No matter where Brandon was, you knew it by his contagious laugh and his fun-loving attitude. He couldn’t pass up a mirror and always had to make sure he looked just right; you might say he was a little bit conceited. You could find him dressed perfectly and couldn’t stand for his clothes to get wrinkled. He loved working in the oilfield and took pride in being a hard-working employee. Brandon’s biggest joy in life was his Family especially being a Dad to his two kids. You could always find him throwing the football, takings drives, going to or making pallets on the floor to watch movies. There were always plenty of laughs to go around when he was with them. He was a wonderful cook and was proud of it, and he would also never turn down a dance or a chance to draw. The world will be a little quieter with Brandon’s loud personality gone. Brandon is survived by his Mom Terri Madrid and Husband Ben, Daughter Kamryn Free, Son Branson Free, and Step-Daughter Halle Darr. Gina Darr, mom to his two children. Sisters, April Michelle James, and Michaela Madrid. Step-Brother Thomas Madrid and wife Jen. Nephews Jaxon Walker, and Vincent Madrid, Nieces Jaylee James, and Jerzee Walker. Aunts and Uncles Helen Edwards (Tim), Janie Martinez (Danny), Henry DeLoera (Sylvia), Michael Deloera, and Stacy Fisk. Grandpa Boy-CW Jarnagin. Also, many cousins, friends, and special coworkers. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Enrique and Maria DeLoera. Friends and Family may pay their respects at visitation Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 5-7 pm, with Rosary being held 7-8 pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery. Brandon, Brandon, Brandon you made huge impact on so many lives with your witty personality, your heart of gold, your smile, & laugh. The thought of you not being here with us is heartbreaking and it’s impossible to imagine it but I know you’re in a better place now, resting. We have so many fun and wonderful memories together as kids growing up being cousins-best friends, being your big sister, and also my partner in crime. I could go on and on with stories & memories, although some I did forget but now I’m not sure who will be able to share our stories because we always counted on you because you remembered EVERYTHING! Every detail! I love you brother, hug weletha and daddy Enrique for me. Until we meet again, it’s not goodbye but see ya later. -always in our heart-Lyyyza D.
