

Westbrook – Mrs. Clola C. Whitesides, age 89, of Westbrook, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter. Services will be at 2 PM Friday, November 19, 2010, in the First Baptist Church in Westbrook with Revs. Jim Mosley and Terry White officiating. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whitesides was born April 23, 1921 in Mitchell County to Arthur and Leona Coe Wilson. She married W. D. Whitesides on September 4, 1937 in Colorado City. They had lived in Farmington, NM for 13 years and returned to Texas in 1970. She was an LVN in Sweetwater and Colorado City and a member of the First Baptist Church in Westbrook where she was the organist for 39 years.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, W. D. Whitesides of Westbrook; a daughter, Sue and husband, Wayne Pierce of Westbrook; 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, T. A. Whitesides,1 sister and 4 brothers.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the funeral home.
