“Big Uncle Curtis” Clemmer, age 73 of Westbrook passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, May 31, 2013. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Westbrook Cemetery. Revs. Paul Smith and James Williams will officiate. Services under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Curtis was born August 30, 1939 in Eastland, Texas to Altis Clemmer and Mary Lucile Ramsey Clemmer. In December of 1958, Curtis married Mattie Lou Anderson. Mrs. Clemmer passed away February of 1998. He attended Westbrook Baptist Church and retired from TXU in 1992. He then went to work for 4 years in maintenance for Westbrook ISD.
Surviving Curtis is his brother, Richard Clemmer and wife Charlotte of Colorado City, as well as several nieces and nephews.
