Delpha Rich, 90, Colorado City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 30, 1927 in Winniewood Oklahoma to Alton Clarence and Bertha Lee Rose Crownover. Delpha was a woman who lived her life according to Proverbs 31 making sure to put God and Family above all else. Growing up as a farm girl Delpha learned to be a hard worker and how to stretch a dollar, values she used while raising her children. Shortly after graduating high-school in 1946 Delpha married the love of her life Mr. J.T. Rich, who she spent 72 wonderful years with until she passed away. In her spare time Delpha enjoyed crafting, especially quilting and embroidering. Over the years she made several blankets for her children and grandchildren and their children too. To know her was to love her and the warm smile on her face would tell you she loved you too. Delpha is survived by her husband J.T. Rich of Colorado City, by her sons Raymond Rich and wife Renae of Westbrook, Gaylord Rich and wife Roxann of Lubbock, and Glenn Rich and wife Pam of Coahoma, and by her daughters Janette Moody and husband Jimmy of Westbrook, Oma Lelek and husband David of Quitman, Sandra Sullivan and husband Glen of Colorado City, and Rhonda White and husband Todd of Wink, as well as by a sister Winnona Bassinger and husband Wilburn of Abilene. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She was preceded in death by a son Terry Wayne Rich, a grandson James Edward, 2 great-grandsons Max Porostovsky and James Raymond Hall, by her brother J.L. Crownover, and by a sister Evonne Smith. A funeral for Delpha will be held at the Christian Temple on Hickory Street in Colorado City at 10 am on Wednesday, July 11th with Bobby Matlock and Paul Smith officiating, burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery. The family will be present for a visitation on Tuesday, July 10th from 6-8 pm at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
