Donnie Guelker, age, 77, of Colorado City, died Friday morning in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Sunday in the New Life Ministries Church with Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Donnie was born December 29, 1936 in Hermleigh to Wilbur and Stella Cantwell Laurens and had been a lifelong resident of Mitchell and Nolan counties. She was a waitress for many years and a member of the New Life Ministries Church in Colorado City.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa and husband, Douglas Stephens of Colorado City a son, Eddie and wife, Betty Guelker of Sweetwater; 2 grandchildren Travis Guelker of Sweetwater and Jana Claxton of Flower Mound; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special family, the McClure family.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
