Thinking of Miss Doris today, as I often do.  She was absolutely one of the best nurses I ever worked with. She taught me so much and was kind and displayed the most compassionate care to our patients. She was always willing to answer my perpetual questions and curiosities. I pray she is in heaven and knows how grateful we all were to have her with us. She is missed!

I had the great pleasure and honour of working in the hospital with Doris. She trained us new Canadian RNs better than anyone else. Her knowledge was impressive and her heart for her patients as big as the state of Texas. Doris loved God, she was one of his angels on earth. Rest in heavenly peace xo Condolences to her family.

Doris was one of the best nurses I worked with at Root Memorial Hospital then Mitchell County Hospital.  Never a dull moment with her.  I learned a lot from that women with the heart of gold.  My condolences to the family and prayers
