She was born in Strawn, Texas on September 23, 1943 to Roy and Mary Stallings Little.
Elizabeth was a hard working woman who loved her family with all her heart. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, especially her granddaughter possum. She was best known as a self-taught entrepreneur having brought dog grooming to Abilene when she opened Lads and Lassies Dog Grooming. Before opening she studied diligently to learn all the tricks to her trade. She was one of those people that would be considered a jack-of-all-trades. She enjoyed working on the dogs, doing all sorts of arts from ceramics to painting and everything in between. She also enjoyed sewing, playing BINGO, watching westerns and trying new activities and games. She also worked at the State Fair in Dallas selling her infamous corn on the cob. In all she was a very adventurous woman and her family will think of her fondly and smile for years to come.
She is survived by her daughters Terry Townsend Miller and husband James of Hawley, Deborah Gowler and husband Don of Buffalo Gap, Darlene Hagar Lee of Colorado City, and Mary Hagar Hewtty and husband Salvador of Abilene, as well as by grandchildren Chevy, Ashly, James, Trace, Perry, Candas, Kellsy, Robert, Erica, and Victoria, as well as by 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brothers Robert Little and wife Eileen of Abilene and Jerry Little of Tuscola.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mary Little.
