She was born in Oil Center Oklahoma to James and Willie Woods Isaacs on January 20, 1928.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Van Oss High School in Oklahoma and worked many years as a switch board operator for AT&T, but her favorite job of all was being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother, which she excelled at. She liked to live her life as simple as possible, praising her Lord and loving on her family, and once the grandchildren came around they fast became the joy of her life. She was a member of the Westbrook First Baptist Church and a Sunday School Teacher for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed riding around the country side looking at all the wild-life and teaching her grandchildren about the animals that they saw. She also enjoyed watching GSN, singing from the heart, and visiting with friends.
She is survived by her sons Clifton McCown of Burns Flat Oklahoma and Don McCown and wife Luisa of Snyder, by a daughter Mary Quisenberry and husband Larry of El Reno Oklahoma, as well as by her grandchildren, Sarah, Rykin, David, Dustie, Joel Ray, Tandi, Garrett, and Katy, and by many great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
