She was born on February 14, 1939 in Baird, Texas to Erwin and Daisy Smith Jones.
Elsie was a woman who truly embellished living the country life, spending the majority of her life since 1961 in the Colorado City area. On July 22, 1985 she married Fred Biggers who preceded her in death on September 17, 1993. A country girl at heart Elsie owned many farm animals and dogs throughout her life and loved every last one of them. In her younger years she would travel to go spend the summers with her grandma and her Uncle Tom. Later in life she could be seen relaxing and watching westerns.
Elsie is survived by her dear friends Patty Graham, Susan Shoals, and Opal Tackle.
A graveside service for Elsie will be held at 11 am in the Colorado City Cemetery with Pastor Paul Smith officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
