Emilia Vargas Lujan

Mrs. Emilia V. Lujan, age 81 of Loraine, died Monday morning in an Abilene Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbuman officiating. Burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lujan was born August 8, 1932in Floresville, TX to Marcos and Teresa Ramirez-Flores Vargas. She married A. A. Lujan on April 26, 1947 in Colorado City. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, A. A. Lujan of Loraine; 2 sons: Joe and wife, Cassie Lujan of Loraine and Eddie and wife Jackie Lujan of Champion; 2 daughters: Cecilia and husband, John Munoz and Mary Helen Gomez both of Loraine. 4 brothers: Roy Vargas of Duncanville, Johnny Vargas, Peter Vargas and Domingo Vargas, all of San Marcos; 1 sister, Angie Lamb of San Marcos; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A rosary will be held at 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
