Enedina "Nina" Rivera

`Enedina “Nina” Rivera, age 86, of Colorado City, died Friday evening at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rivera was born May 15, 1927 to Felipe and Maria Albidrez Najar and had been a lifelong resident of Colorado City. She married Manual Rivera 1943 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Lydia and husband Jimmy Jones of Odessa, Alice Huff of Colorado City, Mary and husband, Ruben Mata of Odessa; 4 sons: Robert and wife, Yolanda Rivera of Big Spring, David and wife, Alice Rivera of San Angelo, Dennis and wife, Elena Rivera of Odessa and Ruben and wife, Carla Rivera of Odessa; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Rivera of Colorado City; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Sally Flores , Elisa Molina and Vidalia Banuelos all of Visalia, CA; a brother, Paul Flores of Woodland, CA.

Rosary will be held at 7 PM Sunday at 7 PM at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Manual Rivera, Jr. and Raul Rivera.
