Ernesto Diaz

Colorado City – Mr. Ernesto Diaz, age 51, of Colorado City, passed away at Hendrick’s Medical Center in Abilene on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Arispe officiating, with cremation to follow.

Ernesto worked in the west Texas oilfields for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Diaz; one daughter, Felicia Diaz; three sons: Joseph Diaz of Colorado City, Brandon Hulme of San Angelo, and Jason Gardener of Paris, TX; his mother, Celia Diaz of Colorado City; three sisters: Alice Diaz, Ceceilia Garcia, and Delia Diaz, all of Colorado City; three brothers: Eddie Diaz, and Bobby Diaz both of Colorado City, and Sonny Diaz of Houston; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ernesto Diaz Sr.; and three brothers: Freddie Diaz, Antonio Diaz, and Frank Diaz.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
