Francis Marion Berg, age 89, was taken into the arms of God on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from a local care center. Marion had been a resident of Colorado City for the past 11 years. Previously she lived in Abilene for 24 years.
Services will be at 10 AM Saturday, November 14, 2015, in the First United Methodist Church in Colorado City with Rev. Larry Bass officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 PM in the Elmwood Memorial Gardens in Abilene under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Marion was born in Stamford, TX on September 17, 1926 to Howard and Nettie Griggs Kilpatrick. She married Earl Berg on February 9, 1944 in Stamford.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy and husband, Byrle Chapman of Colorado City; grandsons: Mike and wife, Christi Chapman of Snyder and Greg and wife, Kelly Chapman of Coahoma; four precious great grandchildren: Nathan, Reagan, Trace and Morgan; a special niece, Marty Bush of Waco and a special nephew, Doug Kilpatrick of Cape Girardeau, MO.
She is preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Linda.
