Mrs. Gregoria Ybarra, age 99, of Colorado City, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, in Grand Prairie, TX. Services will be at 1:30 PM Monday, September 29, 2014, in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Rev. Almonte officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ybarra was born May 27, 1915, in Brownsville, Texas to Emilio and Epimenia Lopez Marmolejo and had been a 90 year resident of Colorado City. She was a homemaker and a devout Jehovah’s Witness.
She is survived by daughters: Manuela Salgado of Odessa, Gloria Harrison of Grand Prairie, Mary Heredia of Colorado City and Dolores Gomez of La Blanca, TX; sons: Miguel Ybarra and wife, Refugio of Odessa and Emilio and wife, Maria of Corinth, TX.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel Ybarra; sisters: Manuela Hernandez, Carmen Badillo, Angelita Rodriguez, Antonia Guerrero and Petra Marmolejo.
A family visitation with a prayer service will be held 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
