Henry Hoyle

Henry Hoyle, age 90, of Colorado City, died Wednesday morning in a local care center. A graveside service will be at 11 o’clock AM Saturday, December 6, 2014, in the Zion Rest Cemetery with Rev. Brett Hoyle officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Hoyle was born May 6, 1924 in Boswell, OK to R.H. and Alice Edwards Hoyle and had lived in Mitchell County most of his life. He married Cherrie Stanley on March 4, 1948 in Snyder, TX. She preceded him in death on November 30, 1998. He was a farmer and rancher in Mitchell County for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII and was a part of the occupation of Japan. He was also a member of the Oak St. Baptist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Wheeler of Abilene; 2 sons: Nathan and wife, Cheryl Hoyle of Colorado City and Randy and wife, Bonnie Hoyle of Abilene; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
