Janice L. Scrivner, 84, of Snyder, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas, after a brief illness.

Janice was born July 27, 1936, in Loraine, Texas, to Oscar Paul and Lara Stewart. Janice met and married Doyal V Harmon; they then moved to Andrews, Texas, and raised their two sons. After living in Andrews, they moved to Singapore for 4 years, and Janice fell in love with the Orient. After moving back to Texas, they moved to Snyder, where she resided for over 40 years, where she worked at City Hall until her retirement.

Janice will always be remembered as a loving Mother and Grandmother who took any opportunity to brag about her family, as they were her biggest pride. She would always make sure everyone else was taken care of before herself. She was strongly independent but loved deeply.

Janice is survived by her Son Doug Harmon and wife Debra, Grandsons Luke Harmon, Layne Harmon, Shayne Harmon, Brother Bob Stewart, and Nephew Kyle Stewart. Janice also leaves behind her beloved poodle Penny.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years Doyal V Harmon, Son Steven D Harmon, and her parents Paul and Lara Stewart.

There will be a visitation for Janice Tuesday, March 16, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral home, with a Graveside Service being held afterward at the Colorado City Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
