Jimmy “Tonka” Walthall, 74, Colorado City, passed away on January 31, 2019 in the Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. Jimmy was born in Colorado City on October 22, 1944 to Albert and Ceola Butler Walthall. Jimmy was a quiet man who believed in keeping life simple. He was a Christian man, loved his family with all his heart and served his country well. In his spare time he could be seen watching a Houston Texans game, or doing something with his cars or electronics. Jimmy is survived by a son Colin Walthall, a daughter LaSetta Walthall, and by his grandchildren Colin Walthall Jr., Zoe Walthall, and Mia Walthall all of Houston. Spud Jackson

February 5, 2019

Jimmy was very dear to me...When I was in college he always made sure that I had everything that I needed to be successful...I remember him buying my comforter set and things for my dorm room...We always kept in touch with eachother....I talked to him on Mother's Day and he actually took a selfie with me (on his phone)...he said, "Spud come here with your ugly self and take this picture with me so that when you call me, I can see your ole ugly face!!"...I am going to miss him. I am praying for comfort and Love for the family...God bless you all.
