Loraine – Mrs. Joan B (Suzie) Franklin, age 78, of Loraine, died Saturday morning at her residence. She will be cremated and no service is planned at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Suzie was born January 16, 1934 in San Francisco, CA to Roy E. and Dorothea Pate Askey. She married Charles Franklin on April 7, 1988 in Clayton, NM. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church in Loraine.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Franklin of Loraine; 2 sons: Robert Dale West of Cathedral City, CA and Glen and wife, Perri West of Guymon, OK; 2 daughters: Charlotte Kumm of Grapevine, TX and Patricia and husband, David Seegers of Rio Rancho, NM; 1 sister, June Cline of CA and 4 grandchildren.
