She was born in California on January 28, 1943 to Jesse and Katherine Burnett Molder.
Joan married on August 28, 1959 and soon after started her family whom she loved very much. She was the type of person that never met a stranger as she enjoyed talking to people. If she knew someone was in need she was also the type of person to be right there to help, whether it was when she lived in Gilmer or in West Texas. In her spare time she enjoyed being with family and gardening. Her kind gentle hands will be remembered fondly.
She is survived by 2 sons Ferlin Goolsy and wife Patsy of Colorado City and Justin Goolsby and wife Tammy of Gilmer Texas, by a daughter Mariann Temples and husband Woody of East Texas, and by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved husband Albert Sidney Goolsby
.
At her request there will be no formal services for Joan at this time.
Arrangements are under the care of Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
