Colorado City – Mrs. Joan Mann Watlington, age 84, of Colorado City, passed away Saturday night, April 16, 2011, in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, April, 19, 2011, in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Kerry Cain and Royce Clay officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Watlington was born April 14. 1927 in Colorado City and had been a lifelong resident. She married Raymond Watlington on November 23, 1944 in Colorado City. She was a homemaker and a member of the 22nd & Austin Sts. Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Watlington of Colorado City; 2 sons: Charles Ray, and wife, Ethel, Watlington of Arlington, TX and Larry Don, and wife, Carolyn) Watlington, of Colorado City; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Charlsa Gregory.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
