Jose Belen “Bill” Ramirez, 79, formerly of Colorado City went to heaven to flirt with the angels. He passed away in San Angelo on Friday, January 29, 2021. Bill was born on September 8, 1941 in Bangs Texas to the late Jose and Elena Montalbo Ramirez. Bill was a good and faithful man who spent his time serving his Lord and working hard. He was very involved with his faith and with the Catholic Church. He became a Cursillista and later became a lector where he taught the meaning of “Piety” in the meetings. He also later attended a men’s “ACTS” meeting. He made rosaries for the nuns to sell at a gift shop and later continued to make rosaries for family and friends. As you may tell from making rosaries Bill was a crafty man and very good with his hands. Where ever he went he worked as a Butcher skillfully selecting the best cuts of meats for his customers. In his spare time he loved fixing and building things. He would fix cars, build additions to homes, patios, carports and much much more. Bill was always the ladies’ man, often sweeping them off their feet on the dance floor and wooing them with his gentle smile. He leaves behind a lifetime of work for those that loved him to look at and cherish for years to come. Bill is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers Raul Ramirez and Felipe Ramirez, his sisters Rosa Anna Ramirez, Quadalupe Valdez, Amalia Gow, Amelia Melendez, Yrene Bastardo, and Erlinda Ramirez. He is survived by his sisters Alicia Ramirez, Josephina Baros, and Teodora Garcia, his children Jose Belen Ramirez Jr., Vicente Ramirez, Patricio Ramirez, Lauriano Ramirez, Jose Luiz Ramirez, Carla Escobar, Nikki Valencia, Yvonne Ramirez, Tonya McCandless, and Samantha Etheridge. Bill is also survived by his grandchildren Samaria Leigh Garza and partner Ezekial Garza, Tomas Jesus Aguilar Jr., and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews of whom he loved very much. A Mass of Christian Burial for Bill will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church in Colorado City at 11:30 am with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Lauriano Ramirez, Patricio Ramirez, Vicente Ramirez, Rene Holguin, Alonzo Etheridge, and T.J. Aguilar Jr.. The service will be livestreamed on Kiker Seale Funeral Home’s Facebook page for all that cannot attend. The family will be present for a visitation from 6-8 pm on Friday, February 5th with a rosary to be performed at 7pm at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home. Uncle Bill you were always such a joy to be around I remember staying at Aunt Lindas house for a week and you’d come over every morning and we’d make coffee and breakfast and just sit around and talk... I’m always going to miss that. I wish you could’ve met my husband and new baby... I love you uncle Bill

Belen was very kind and loving with everyone, and in my heart I have so many memories, especially when I lived in Colorado. One of my best memories with bellen was picking cherries, he would come visit with the family and eat dinner and tell jokes, he was always the life of the party. Twice he came to California were we spent good times catching up one of those visited he came with is sister Linda. With all my love and Condolences to the family. Love your cousin, Paula solis

My condolences to the family of Jose Belen Ramirez. May God give each and everyone of you the strength to endure this enormous loss. Jose was a kind and wonderful man. He would often times visit and pick up my parents in Rowena Tx and take them to see different places since my parents were up in age and couldn't drive too much. I'm certain God has a special place in heaven for him. Qué en paz Descanse. Patricio Ramirez-DeLeon y familia
