

Colorado City – Mrs. Leona Cupp, age 89, of Colorado City, died Monday night in a local hospital. Services will be at 10 AM Friday, July 5, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cupp was born September 4, 1923 in Lucien, Mississippi to Monroe and Daisy Wilson Jordan. She married Floyd Cupp on September 22, 1942 in Winnsboro, LA and had been a resident of Colorado City since 1953. She was a manager for Jarrell Garment Factory for many years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Cupp of Colorado City; a daughter, Barbara Nixon of Colorado City; 2 sons: Randolph and wife, Paula Cupp of Ruston, LA and Bobby and wife, Karen Cupp of Hemphill, TX; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Simon of Crowville, LA; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
