

Mrs. Louisa Davila, age 87, a longtime resident of Colorado City, died Tuesday evening, May 13, 2015, at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Saturday, May 16, 2015, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davila was born June 21, 1927 in Waelder, Texas to Guadalupe and Rita Campos Luera. She married Roberto Davila on November 8, 1947 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1984. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 sisters; Cruz and husband, Ysidro Lozana of Colorado City and Frances and husband, Ricardo Miller of Odessa; 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by 2 sons: John Davila and Paul Davila, a daughter, Celia Davila; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
A rosary will be held at 7 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at the funeral home.
