Maria Pantoja

Maria Trinidad Pantoja, age 76, of Loraine, passed away May 13, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loraine with Father Bhaskar Mendem will officiate with burial in Loraine Cemetery. A Rosary service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Maria was born June 7, 1936 in Roscoe, TX to Felix Pantoja and Florencia Villa. She helped raise her seven brothers and sisters and was always there for her nieces and nephews. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Guadalupanas for over 30 years. Preceding Maria in death were her parents and a sister, Jovita Diaz.

Survivors include her siblings, Alfonso Pantoja and wife Maria of Roscoe, Manuela Pantoja of Loraine, Victoria Washington of Augusta, Georgia, Juan Pantoja of Big Spring, Pedro Pantoja of Loraine, Ponciano Pantoja of Dallas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews.
