Michelle “Miki” Billingsley, 26, of Colorado City and Lubbock went to be with her Lord and Savior after a sudden accident that occurred on Saturday, April 20, 2019. She passed at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas. Michelle was born on February 10, 1993 in Big Spring, Texas daughter to Mikel Billingsley and Yolanda Lopez. She grew up in Colorado City alongside those who meant most to her: her family. She attended and graduated from Colorado City in 2011. She practiced highjump and had a deep love for sports. Even when she was just a baby her Dad nicked-named her “Miki Motor-Butt” a fitting nick-name to depict her high energy levels and constant need to be running and jumping. She jumped her way to the state finals her junior year in high school. After high-school she attended UTSA for a year before transferring to Angelo State where she also ran track and field while earning her Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology. Her flag still flies high on the track in San Angelo, TX. She continued training; her athleticism only grew stronger as she continued doing what she loved. She loved running and challenging herself to do better and be better every day. Being physically fit and in good health was very important to her. After meeting the love of her life this love only amplified. So much so that she was able to convince her Fiancé, Quade Adams, to run with her to get in shape for their wedding which was scheduled for October 26, 2019. For as long as she could remember, Michelle craved a love for the ages, one that had no conditions, and knew no bounds; a love much like that of her parent’s. Our good lord finally answered her prayers by way of Quade, just in time before calling her home. Michelle radiated new energy, and was ready to tell anyone who would hear that she had found the love she had waited her entire life for. On any day you could hear Miki say “I’m so happy” a true testament to the phrase “when you know, you know.” Michelle’s sweet energy was infectious to all those around her, she never knew a stranger because she had the heart to take in all those she met as friends. Michelle was a wonderful woman full of love for life, passion for those she loved and the strength and determination to dream big and then chase those dreams. She was the type of woman who was not afraid to show her love, especially when it came to her mother, her friends, and her family, but especially to children, as they would bring the biggest smile to her face, which was one that would light up the room when she walked in. She had an aura about her that made everybody feel better about their day and like they were special to her. She was always generous, especially toward her mother as she was a ‘Momma’s Girl” and loved to spoil her every chance she got. She was also a woman who knew that to get what she wanted she must work hard, but no matter what successes she had she remained humbled knowing that her successes were done through the grace of God. Her warm heart, big smile and love for all will be treasured by all who knew and loved her and she will be truly missed. Michelle is survived by her mother Yolanda Lopez of Colorado City, by her fiancé Quade Adams of Midland, her sisters Dylan Billingsley of San Diego California, Tanya Marquez and husband Max of Lubbock, and Valeria Vera of Plano, by her Mother and Father-in-law Hank and Kellie Adams of Denver City, and a sister-in-law Erin Adams. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Juan Antonio and Faustina Lopez of Mexico, and by her aunts and uncles Adela Garcia and husband Julio of Colorado City, Jovita Rivera and husband Rafael of Colorado City, Sylvia Nunez and husband Simon of Mexico, Charo Younger and husband George of Colorado City, Luz Maria Luevano and husand Victor of Mexico, Juan C. Lopez and wife Bertha of Mexico, and Juan Antonio Lopez and wife Arelis of Mexico, as well as by several beloved cousins, and close friends, and by her dog Molly. On the day of her passing her father Mikel and his parents George and Nelda Jo Billingsley were waiting at heaven’s gate with open arms to greet her. Michelle was our drug rep here at Women's Oncology-Gynecology Oncology with Dr. T. Farzan, I loved every visit with her. When she'd walk in that door her smile always so bright and her energy was always so uplifting it would make every patient smile. I'll never for get the next visit she came in to see me, she was so excited to tell me she was ENGAGED we completely turned off subject, but i knew her heart was complete. My thoughts & Prayers are with her fiance Quade, as well as all her family & friends. Michelle you will forever have a place in my heart, every time I think of you. And Michelle" jump higher and your fly angel."
On behalf of myself & Dr. Farzan, we send our condolences.

Sweet Michelle, I feel so incredibly blessed to have known you for the few years I did! From the moment I met you I knew you were special! You had this gift of making everyone you knew feel important and loved. My boys loved you too and it just breaks my heart that you never had the chance to have kids of your own. You would have been the best Mom. I’ll forever cherish the memories I made with you! You messaged me the day you passed about a new beer that I tried so I will forever cheers 🍻 to you babe! ❤️

After middle school I moved away from Colorado City so Michelle and I lost touch. But anytime I think of my middle school memories I am reminded of the countless sleepovers we would have at her house! Watching movies, terrorizing the boys that were all staying at Matt’s house down the street, and constant fun and laughter. Michelle will be missed so much! ❤️

You were such a great individual to be around. It was never a dull moment when the "jump squad" gather together. Your contagious laugh and energy would brighten any room when you entered. I'll never forget our laughs and our sad times too because those were the times we saw your strength, you never gave up on what you believed. I will continue to keep these memories of you close. You were truly a good person, a good friend. Fly high Michy
