Nell Key

Nell Key, age 84, of Colorado City, died Thursday in a local care center, Services will be at 11 AM Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the First Baptist Church of Colorado City with Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Key was born June 8, 1930 in Colorado City to Curtis and Sophia White Oliver and had been a long time resident of both Colorado City and Big Spring. She married Mack Key on March 8, 1948 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2009. She was an owner of several beauty shops, a realtor and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Steve and wife, Marsha Key of Lubbock; grandsons: Brian and wife, Heather Key of Lubbock, Dr. Shawn Key and Cliffton Cherry of Arkansas; granddaughters: Amanda and husband Berry Braster of The Netherlands and Stephanie and husband, Brandon Coffman of Lubbock; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
