He was born in Colorado City on October 9, 1973 to Andrew and Sophia Salazar Sosa.
Oli was a family-man at heart always making sure to put his family first. He was the best husband, father, and popo a family could ask for. He worked hard every day to provide everything his family ever wanted. Oli worked for many years as a floor hand in the oil field. On August 4, 2007 Oli married the love of his life Maggie Argruijo, after 12 years of endless love for one another, every day proving how much he loved her, as he had a huge heart. Though he was not scared of a hard-day’s work Oli enjoyed being at home where he played and taught his children how to play guitar and bass. He also enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, cooking for get-togethers where he was best known for “Popo’s Chili Beans”, and listening to and playing music around the fire. Aside from teaching his children the importance of hard-work and how to play music he also taught them the power of prayer and the importance of keeping the faith when things got rough. Those that knew him knew he had a sweet tooth, especially for chocolate and that he was a diehard Washington Redskins fan. His legacy will live on through his teachings in basic life fundamentals to his family, he will be dearly missed.
