

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 26 at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel, 338 Locust St., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. led by Royce Clay and Dr. Jerry Shields. After the service, the family will receive visitors at home, 4267 County Road 307.
Pamela Earle Pratt was born Nov. 27, 1946, in Colorado City, the only child of Newby and Florence Neal Pratt. She graduated from Colorado High School in 1965.
Pam attended McMurry University and graduated from Tarleton State University in 1969 with a degree in elementary education.
On April 13, 1968, Pam married George A. Walker at First United Methodist Church in Colorado City. Pam taught special education and pre-kindergarten for 38 years before retiring in 2011 from Colorado ISD. She had a heart for children and animals and was gracious and kind to all she knew.
The Walkers are members of Dorn Chapel at Lake Colorado City.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, George; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Chad Cavitt of Colorado City; son and daughter-in-law, George and Sidney Levesque of Abilene; granddaughter, Julia Michelle Levesque of Abilene; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Frank and Mary Ellen Walker Thornton of Trinity and Dr. John and Regina Walker of Cypress; nieces Emily and Whitney Walker of Cypress; nephew and his wife, Dr. Robert and Amanda Thornton of Starkville, Miss., and their children, Caralise and Caleb; cousins Byron and Mark Neal; and special friend Minnie Gomez.
