Patrick Loy Barker

Patrick was born September 21, 1954 in Loraine, Texas to Patrick Roy and Mary (Kathy) Jones Barker.

He lived in and worked in the Mitchell County area his entire life. After graduation High school he pursued a welding degree from TSTC and worked as a welder for a few years. Patrick loved people and never met a stranger. To him there was nothing better than a good friend, and if he considered you a friend he was loyal and caring. He will most be remembered by his little sister as someone who looked forward to irritating her just the way big brothers are meant to.

Patrick is survived by his Mother Kathy Barker of Colorado City, Sister Brenda Taylor of Colorado City, Niece Bethany Martin and Husband Tony of Colorado City, Nephew Patrick Taylor Jr. of Auckland, New Zealand, Great Nephew Karson Martin, Great Nieces Kaydence Martin and Kennedy Martin all of Colorado City, Cousins Mike Barker of Big Rapids, Michigan, Karan Mayes, Dale Barker and wife Cindy, Theresa Shelby and Husband Mo all of Abilene, and James Barker and wife Debbie of Merkel.

Preceding Patrick are his Father Patrick Roy Barker, Grandpa Loy Edward Barrington, Grandma Velma Barrington, and Uncle Warren Haskell Barker.
