

Patsy “Pat” Lowrance, 73, Colorado City passed away at the Covenant Hospital in Lubbock on Saturday, December 19, 2015. She was born in Rule Texas on July 7, 1942 to the late Gordon and Jimmie Campbell O’Pry.
Pat was a family oriented woman, a devoted wife who loved spending time with and caring for her children and grandchildren. She was the type of person to go without just to make sure that others had what they needed. She would be most remembered for the crafts that she created and for her cooking, especially her biscuits and gravy or her steak fingers. In her spare time she could be seen out traveling, going to garage sales, auctions, and at any number of sporting events that her family either played in or coached.
She is survived by her husband Doyle Lowrance whom she married in Ardmore Oklahoma on April 10, 1959, by two sons Donny Lowrance and wife Donna of Colorado City, John Lowrance and wife Becky of Lubbock, and a daughter-in-law Jamie Lowrance of Munday. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; Bradley Lowrance and wife Melanie, Katelin Demel and husband Bucky, Jason Lowrance, Justin Lowrance and wife Crystal, Jeremy Lowrance, Cassy Mahan and husband Kevin, Ty Fawver and wife Veronica, Kandace Lowrance, Mitchell Lowrance, and Kasey Lowrance, as well as by eight great-grandchildren, her two fur babies Sissy and Fluffy, and by her brother Eddie Shoemake of Clear Lake.
She was preceded in death by her son Ronny Lowrance.
A funeral service for Pat will be held at the Westbrook Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 23 at 10 am with burial to follow at 2pm in the Rule Cemetery in Rule Texas. A visitation for Pat will be held on Tuesday, December 22 from 5-7 pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home in Colorado City.
