She was born on May 4, 1935 in Morelos, Coah Mexico to the late Martin De Hoyos Galindo and Josefa Flores.
Rebeca lived by her faith in God and trusted in him with all her might. She started her days in prayer for herself and everyone she loved. She found the most joy in her life was when she was surrounded by all her family at her home, laughing, eating and just carrying on with what was happening in their lives. She would always make a big meal for everyone to enjoy. Her laughter was one to remember because when she laughed, “she rejoiced”, it was also contagious and could be heard through the whole house. She was a very humorous lady but also was a person of integrity and to the point, there was no beating around the bush with her. She loved all her grandchildren the same and would do anything for them. From making their favorite meal to sewing up their favorite toy. She spent her time embroidering pillowcases and table toppers. She also loved her music, telenovelas and gardening. She enjoyed every kind of flower, especially if it was a bright color. Her beautiful smile and laughter will be etched in the minds of all that loved her and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
