Robert Dwayne Haggerton Sr

Robert D Haggerton Sr, age 64 of Colorado City, Tx , passed away on Sunday, Sept 13, 2015. He was born to the late Robert J Haggerton and Reba Faye Jackson, and Gerry (GeGe) Owens Haggerton on September 12, 1951.

Robert D Haggerton, Attended School at Colorado High School, before joining the oilfield in 1967, where he excelled and soon made a name for himself as a industry leader, where he traveled the world and eventually settled back in his hometown of Colorado City, Tx .

Robert’s Family and his life long love for the oilfield filled his life with joy and purpose. He grew up spending summers and vacations with his family on there family farm in Colorado City, Where he was influenced by the late Burt and Addie Haggerton, his father Robert J Haggerton, and his aunt Omadele Haggerton, Robert passed his time Working and fishing on the Colorado River. Robert was a Dedicated family man and took pride and joy in the presence of his family.

Robert is survived by his wife , Mary Louise Haggerton, and there three Children, Pamela and Howard Hatch, Shelia and Jim Kirk, and Robert and Jennifer Haggerton, 11 grandkids and 12 great grandkids, his brothers and sisters, Darla Viohl, Darlene Henderson, Steve Owens, David Owens, James Owens, Jana Barr, and Ronnie Owens.

Robert was preceded in death by his, Father Robert J Haggerton, mother Reba Faye Morgan, Step mother Gerry (GeGe) Haggerton, Brother Jerry Dean Haggerton, and nephew Kevin Phil Ball.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the Christian Temple church, in Colorado city, Tx, on September 17, 2015, at 2:00 pm
