Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Colorado City Cemetery with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Services are under the director of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Ruby was born on February 9, 1929 to Charlie and Viola Diffee Hulme in Stamford, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Colorado City. Ruby was an avid reader and a homemaker. Ruby married L. T. Moore on April 1, 1946 in Abilene, who preceded her in death in 1997.
She leaves behind her son, Wayland Moore and wife, Cheryl of Colorado City; daughters, Meradith Smith and husband Les of Fleming, Colorado, Suzette Meador and husband, Wiley of Decatur; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
