Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ona Preston; her beloved husband, Clay Graham; her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Irene Graham; her daughter, Nancy Swindle; her sister and brother-in-law, Eloise and Delmar McDaniel; and her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ann Preston.
Shirley is survived by her son-in-law, Jerry Swindle of Sweetwater, TX, and her cherished family. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Zane Graham and wife Reannon, their children Morgan Baker her husband Dusty and Audrey Moreland of Weatherford, TX; Brooke Swindle of Dripping Springs, TX; Wade Swindle and wife Shannon, their children Rueger and Rhoan of La Vernia, TX; and Max Graham and wife Cheyenne, their children Bex and Leddy Lou of Sweetwater, TX, along with many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A dedicated professional, Shirley served for 27 years as a Nurses Aide at Mitchell County Hospital, where her unwavering care touched countless lives. Above all, she was defined by her deep love for her family. Whether cheering at ball games, stock shows, and rodeos, she was a constant source of love, encouragement and support.
A woman of deep faith, Shirley was a dedicated prayer warrior, spending countless hours praying for others. She treasured her church family and found profound peace in her relationship with the Lord. While her absence is deeply felt, her family rejoices, knowing she is now at rest with Jesus.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home in Colorado City, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Loraine, with Pastor Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Loraine Cemetery, under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
