She was born to Trinidad and Maria Navarro Chavez Sr. in Robstown, Texas on June 2, 1960.
Vicki was a great wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished every moment she had with her family. She was best known in this area for her cooking, as her food brought the crowd, whether it be at DQ or the countless other restaurants that she worked at over the years. Vicki loved to live her life on the go, as she could not be still, always having the urge to be busy. When she wasn’t cooking, she was out helping others with their chores and yardwork. She was a very down-to-earth woman who also did not put up any pretenses and would let you know how she felt. Those that knew Vicki will cherish those special moments, a quick joke, a warm smile, and the many laughs they shared together.
Vicki is survived by her children Ronnie Parham Jr. of Corpus Christi, Joey Parham and wife Liz of Colorado City, and Chris Parham also of Colorado City, and by grandchildren; Molly, Lilly, Aiden, Morgan, Emma, Lauryn, Aithan, and Alex. She is also survived by a brother Trinidad Chavez Jr., and by sisters Janie Garcia of Colorado City, Irene Rosas and husband Domingo of Midland, Diana Finley and husband Landus of Colorado City, and Anita Weatherford and husband Mark of Hot Spring Arkansas, as well as by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Trinidad Chavez Sr. and Maria Chavez, by her husband Ronald Terry Parham Sr., by brothers Alexander Chavez and Ralph Chavez, and by a sister Carol Parham.
A private celebration of Vicki’s life will be held at a later date and time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
