

She was born on June 5, 1962 in Colorado City to Manuel and Avelia Espinoza Rodriguez.
Vickie was an easy going, fun loving, and laid back person, who was never shy to take a vacation, go camping, or just go for a ride somewhere. To Vickie family always came first as she always made time to do things with her grandchildren, they and her children were the joys of her life. Those that knew her knew that Vickie was a very determined woman and would always figure out a way to get things done.
Vickie is survived by her husband Marshall Garrett, her children Veronica (Durant Hilley) Huff of Colorado City, Louisa (Julio) Pacheco of Sweetwater, and Drake (Olivia) Silva of Roscoe, as well as by 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are her parents Manuel and Avelia Rodriguez, and her siblings Melie (Jebby) Forbes of Colorado City, Hilda (Tony) Compos of Colorado City, Linda (Jerry) Phariss of Stephenville, Rosendo (Mary Jane) Rodriguez of Colorado City, Greg Rodriguez of Colorado City, and Santos Rodriguez of Colorado City.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 25th at 10 am at the Christian Fellowship Church with burial to follow in the Loraine Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24th from 6-8 pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home
