Vida was born February 1927 to W.H. and Martha Riden of Loraine. She was the granddaughter of E.N. Ridens, an original settler of Loraine.
In 1944 Vida married Rex McDaniel. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Vida was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loraine, where she was the pianist for 50 years. She worked at the former First State Bank of Loraine for 44 years.
Graveside funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday at Loraine Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
