Colorado City--Mrs. Virginia “Lois” Hendrix, age 89, of Colorado City, and formally of Westbrook, died Tuesday afternoon at a local care center. Services will be at 3PM Wednesday, November 24, 2010, in the Westbrook Methodist Church with Mike Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hendrix was born December 12, 1920 in Hulver, Texas to Claud W. Newton and Eva Byrd Newton. She married Price Hendrix in Dunn, Texas. She was a post mistress for over 20 years in Westbrook and a member of the Westbrook Methodist Church.
She is survived by her granddaughter Lorianne and husband Patrick Toombs and two great grandchildren Brien Toombs and Bethany Toombs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and son.
