

She was born on April 13, 1928 in Coggin, Iowa to Lewis and Opal Falconeer Robinson.
Wanda was a woman whose life goal was caring for others, she was very family oriented, and never shied away from helping others, even if it meant that she would have to give somebody something that she wanted to keep for herself. She was a strong willed and passionate woman, whose life determination kept her going even when things seemed bleak. She was a woman with great artistic vision and a passion for hard work which could be seen in the floral arrangements that she made at Don’s Flowers in Lubbock, which she and her husband owned and operated for many years. Wanda was a member of the New Life Ministry Church of Colorado City and a life member of the West Texas-New Mexico Florist Association. In her spare time she enjoyed going out walking, often seen going down the streets with her dog in tote.
Wanda is survived by her sons Rex Henderson and wife Retta of Lubbock, their children Jarod Henderson of San Antonio and Amber Parker and husband Matt of Arlington Virginia, and Randy Henderson and his wife Gwen of Colorado City, their children Ty Henderson of Durango Colorado and Tana Gutierrez of Colorado City. Also surviving are 7 great-grandchildren and a sister Beverly Flowers and husband Tim of Miami Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Donald E. Henderson and Bill Lowry, and by a brother Donnie Robbinson.
A funeral service for Wanda will be held at the New Life Ministry on the corner of 17th and Hickory on Monday, March 21st at 10 am with the rev. James Williams officiating, graveside will follow at 3 pm in the Resthaven Cemetery of Lubbock.
The family will hold a visitation on Sunday, March 20th from 5-7 pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
